Tussle between Ego and self respect
A play of intricate mind boggling sense of worthiness
Is Life involving intriguing conversation between ego and self respect
Ego is the extraordinary importance one has for oneself
While Self respect is the realistic evaluation of one's own worth
Don’t you agree it’s a matter of degree
For perceptions to get coloured of transgressions
Expressing individuality is an important aspect of living
Ranging from egotistic to enigmatic
People’s expression leaves one amusing
What for identity is an unanswered question..
Would Freedom come from dissolving identity..
But blurring one’s boundary requires bravery
To wage an unending struggle with limited armoury
The tussle is perplexing in many ways
Can the puzzle be solved in any way..
Striking a balance makes life more interesting
For this Balancing act forms the essence of living..

I am very much impressed by your poem on "Tussel between ego and self-respect." I too suffer from the very same confusion.It is a perplexing question for many.if only we know the boundary line between the two, life on earth will be infinitely blissful. Congrats for such a brilliant attempt.
